나의 작업은 기억을 캔버스에 펼쳐내는 것에서 부터 시작된다. 

기록하지 않으면 사라져버릴 일상의 벅찬 풍경이 위로이자 행복이 되는 순간 망설임 없이 붓을 든다.

눈으로 보고 향을 맡으며 소리를 듣고 마음에 잠시 머물렀던 경험은 따뜻한 색감으로 새롭게 태어나 그 자체가 된다.

매일 피어나고 지는 생각과 감정을 형태로 붙잡는 행위는 어쩌면 끊임없이 변화하는 고독한 삶을 살아가기 위한 방식이다. 

마치 처음 바라 본 세상처럼, 마치 한번도 해본 적 없는 사람처럼 그렇게 기억은 새로운 풍경으로 피어나 또 다른 위로가 된다.

My work begins with unfolding memories onto the canvas.

When the overwhelming landscapes of daily life, which would disappear if left unrecorded, become comfort and happiness, I pick up my brush without hesitation.

Experiences that briefly stayed in my heart seen with my eyes, inhaled through scent, and heard through sound are reborn in warm colors, becoming something entirely new.

Capturing the ever-blooming and fading thoughts and emotions in tangible form is, perhaps, my way of navigating a constantly changing and solitary life.

As if seeing the world for the first time. As if I had never done this before.

And so, memories bloom into new landscapes, offering yet another form of solace.
